   Mike was the first to come to Lake County Ore, he arrived in March of 1926. He was brought out by Tom Barry. Mike went right to work as a sheepherder. He said later on when he saw the country and the isolation one would endure, he would of went back to Ireland, if he had the money. Mike stayed and became a very successfully sheep man, he to brought his brothers out from Ireland.
   Tim came to Lake County in 1931, Martin in 1932, Morris 1934 and Tom in 1938.

Winema National Forest Located
North of Lakeview, West of Silver Lake

The Deely Brothers would winter their bands of sheep in the desert outside of Plush. When the snow would melt in the mountains in the spring they would trail their sheep to the Forest North of Little Yamsay Mountain. Here is where they had Deely Creek, Spring and Meadow named after them.
