Mike in 1926 at the age of 18, outside of Plush with his sheepherders ark that was his home when he was herding sheep.
Mike bought this ranch in 1946 with Tim Twomey in the Drew's Valley area of Lake County. They ran both cattle and sheep. Mike sold this ranch in 1962 and bought another ranch in Beatty Oregon.
